La maggior attenzione per le trasmissioni televisive e i quotidiani \u00e8 legata in parte all\u2019emergenza pandemica di Covid-19. \u00c8 ci\u00f2 che si evince dall\u2019<strong>Annuario Scienza Tecnologia e Societ\u00e0 2021<\/strong> realizzato da <a href=\"https:\/\/www.observa.it\/annuario-scienza-tecnologia-e-societa-2021\/\">Observa Science in Society<\/a>. Negli ultimi 10 anni la ricerca di articoli scientifico-tecnologici tramite <strong>web<\/strong> \u00e8 passata dal 50% (2010) al 73% (2020). Diffuso in buona parte \u00e8 lo scambio di tali informazioni tramite post, immagini o video sui <strong>social network<\/strong>: dai dati raccolti nel marzo 2020 emerge che sono molto usati Facebook, YouTube, Instagram e Twitter. Solo una persona su quattro tra chi usa Facebook e YouTube non ha mai letto o visto contenuti scientifico-tecnologici. Tra gli utenti di Instagram e Twitter la percentuale sale rispettivamente al 42% e al 50%. Circa due utenti Instagram e YouTube su cinque <strong>condividono articoli o post<\/strong> con altri utenti. Per Facebook la percentuale sale al 60% circa. \u00c8 aumentata dal 2015 la percentuale di chi entra in contatto con questi articoli sui social: di 10 punti percentuali per Facebook e YouTube, di 20 punti percentuali per Twitter e pi\u00f9 di 30 punti per Instagram.<\/p>\n<h3>Analfabetismo scientifico e fake news<\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-180 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/sceglab.uniroma3.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/confused-g0c6a8e458_1280-300x215.png\" alt=\"Analfabetismo scientifico e fake news\" width=\"234\" height=\"168\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sceglab.uniroma3.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/confused-g0c6a8e458_1280-300x215.png 300w, https:\/\/sceglab.uniroma3.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/confused-g0c6a8e458_1280-1024x734.png 1024w, https:\/\/sceglab.uniroma3.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/confused-g0c6a8e458_1280-768x550.png 768w, https:\/\/sceglab.uniroma3.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/confused-g0c6a8e458_1280.png 1280w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 234px) 100vw, 234px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Dal 2007, Observa Science in Society si occupa di monitorare ogni anno il livello di <strong>\u201canalfabetismo scientifico\u201d<\/strong> con tre domande standardizzate. Le domande poste nell&#8217;anno 2020 sono &#8220;Il sole \u00e8 un pianeta&#8221;, &#8220;Gli antibiotici uccidono sia i virus che i batteri&#8221; e &#8220;Gli elettroni sono pi\u00f9 piccoli degli atomi&#8221;. Il 14,5% dei cittadini non sa rispondere correttamente a nessuna di &nbsp;queste tre domande. Dal 2017 ad oggi, il livello di analfabetismo scientifico sembrava aver ricevuto una <strong>battuta d\u2019arresto<\/strong>, per arrivare a scendere nel 2019. Nel 2020, solo il 30% degli intervistati sa rispondere correttamente a tutte le domande poste. Gli ultrasessantenni con basso titolo di studio non sanno rispondere a nessuna delle tre domande. Nei giovani e nei laureati, la percentuale di chi sa rispondere alle tre le domande sale rispettivamente al 40% e al 50%. Molti utenti credono invece alle <strong>fake news<\/strong> pi\u00f9 note.
