Mi chiamo Tommaso Mangone, studente del terzo anno del corso di laurea triennale in “Scienze naturali” presso l’Universit\u00e0 di Roma Tre. Ho una forte passione per la biologia e la microbiologia, ambiti che mi affascinano per il loro impatto fondamentale sull\u2019ambiente e la vita quotidiana.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Vorrei condividere un\u2019esperienza che ha consolidato questo interesse. Durante il secondo anno, ho partecipato a un laboratorio di microbiologia tenuto dal professor Imperi, in cui ci siamo concentrati sulla coltura batterica. In questa esperienza, ho appreso in dettaglio le varie fasi del processo come la raccolta dei microrganismi da campioni ambientali, le condizioni ottimali per la loro crescita e i metodi di identificazione e coltivazione. Nel laboratorio subito si veniva invasi dall\u2019odore dei terreni di coltura e dalla vista di una \"\"di macchinari come microscopi e strumenti di campionamento. Una volta iniziati a coltivare i batteri si veniva travolti dalla bellezza e consapevolezza di essere stato te a farli crescere toccando le superficie liscia di un terreno di coltura e aspettando pazientemente la loro riproduzione.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Attualmente, sto approfondendo il corso di \u201cBiotecnologie microbiche per l\u2019ambiente\u201d, che si focalizza sull’utilizzo dei microrganismi per affrontare problematiche ambientali, come l’inquinamento. Le conoscenze acquisite durante il laboratorio si stanno rivelando fondamentali anche in questo campo, dimostrando l’importanza dei microrganismi come strumenti di sostenibilit\u00e0.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
