La dispersione di risorse alimentari richiede azioni urgenti. Scelte alimentari sane e sostenibili da parte dei cittadini possono restituirci un pianeta migliore.\u00a0 <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Il 5 febbraio 2025 si celebra la dodicesima\u00a0<strong>Giornata nazionale di prevenzione dello spreco alimentare<\/strong>. Si tratta di\u00a0un&#8217;iniziativa che, dal 2014, ha l&#8217;obiettivo di sensibilizzare i consumatori riguardo alle gravi conseguenze dello spreco alimentare per l\u2019ambiente e per il Pianeta.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I dati forniti dall\u2019osservatorio <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sprecozero.it\/waste-watcher\/\">Waste Watcher<\/a> sullo spreco alimentare sono allarmanti. <strong>O<\/strong><strong>gni italiano getta <\/strong>in media <strong>524 grammi di cibo<\/strong> alla settimana. I beni di consumo che finiscono nella pattumiera sono soprattutto gli alimenti freschi: frutta, verdura, pane fresco. Inoltre, lo spreco alimentare ha un <strong>impatto<\/strong> <strong>economico<\/strong> significativo. Si spendono 6,4 miliardi di euro per il cibo sprecato e 5,2 miliardi di euro per l&#8217;acqua e l&#8217;energia necessari per la produzione degli alimenti stessi, per un totale di 11,6 miliardi di euro, pari a circa <strong>190 euro per ogni italiano<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La <a href=\"https:\/\/sceglab.uniroma3.it\/index.php\/2024\/12\/28\/food-2030\/\"><strong>riduzione dello spreco alimentare <\/strong><\/a>e la promozione di <strong>sistemi alimentari efficienti <\/strong>sotto il profilo delle risorse rientrano infatti tra gli obiettivi chiave della politica europea <a href=\"https:\/\/food2030.eu\/\"><strong>Food 2030<\/strong><\/a>. La Commissione Europea ha definito undici \u201c<strong>pathways for action<\/strong>\u201d al fine di realizzare un sistema alimentare che possa affrontare le sfide globali entro il 2030. Tra queste il <strong>cambiamento climatico<\/strong>, la <strong>malnutrizione<\/strong> e la <strong>sostenibilit\u00e0 ambientale<\/strong>. Gli undici<em> pathways<\/em> sono quindi le strade da percorrere per raggiungere i <strong>quattro obiettivi chiave<\/strong> della politica Food 2030.\u00a0<span class=\"s1\" style=\"font-size: revert;\">In particolare, gli obiettivi sono: <\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span class=\"s2\" style=\"font-size: revert;\">Diete sane e sostenibili;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span class=\"s2\" style=\"font-size: revert;\">Sistemi alimentari resilienti;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span class=\"s2\" style=\"font-size: revert;\">Economia circolare ed efficienza delle risorse;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span class=\"s2\" style=\"font-size: revert;\">Innovazione e rafforzamento delle comunit\u00e0.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Secondo <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wwf.it\/\"><strong>WWF Italia<\/strong><\/a> \u201caffinch\u00e9 il <strong>sistema alimentare<\/strong> attuale diventi <strong>sostenibile<\/strong>, \u00e8 necessaria una profonda transizione. Questa deve riguardare non solo la produzione, la trasformazione e la distribuzione di cibo, ma anche il consumo dello stesso a livello locale, nazionale e internazionale.
