AUMENTANO LE CONOSCENZE DEGLI ITALIANI IN TEMA DI SCIENZA E TECNOLOGIA. LO RIVELA IL RAPPORTO 2021<\/a> DI OBSERVA<\/h2>\n

Nel 2020 l\u2019Annuario Scienza Tecnologia e Societ\u00e0 2021 <\/em>di Observa <\/a>ha evidenziato un<\/p>\n

\"immagine<\/p>\n

aumento del livello di alfabetismo scientifico\u201d in Italia. Infatti, l\u2019Osservatorio ha somministrato un questionario composto da tre domande standardizzate a livello internazionale al quale, il 14,5% dei cittadini non \u00e8 riuscito a rispondere, superando di gran lunga i dati raccolti negli anni precedenti. Ai quesiti, il Sole \u00e8 un pianeta? Gli antibiotici uccidono sia i virus che i batteri? Gli elettroni sono pi\u00f9 piccoli degli atomi? \u00e8 riuscita invece a rispondere correttamente il 30% delle persone. Tale percentuale \u00e8 stata innalzata dai giovani e dai laureati, le cui risposte positive sfiorano rispettivamente il 40% e il 50%. Gli ultrasessantenni con basso titolo di studio, come negli anni passati, rappresentano la quota che ha riscontrato pi\u00f9 difficolt\u00e0 nel rispondere alle domande.<\/p>\n

LE NUOVE DOMANDE AGGIUNTE AL QUESTIONARIO DI OBSERVA<\/h3>\n

Nel 2018 e nel 2019, l\u2019Osservatorio ha aggiunto due nuove domande alle tre storiche, che sono: l\u2019azoto \u00e8 l\u2019elemento pi\u00f9 diffuso nell\u2019aria? Il bit \u00e8 l\u2019unit\u00e0 di misura della quantit\u00e0 di informazione? Inoltre, nel 2020, sono state aggiunte altre tre domande che fanno riferimento alle fake news pi\u00f9 in voga nel periodo corrispondente che sono: la Terra \u00e8 piatta? il clima della Terra sta diventando sempre pi\u00f9 caldo? i vaccini provocano l\u2019autismo?<\/p>\n

Per quanto riguarda le cinque domande poste anche nel precedente anno, il 50% degli italiani ha risposto correttamente a tutte le domande, nonostante abbiano trovato molta difficolt\u00e0 alla domanda sul bit, un aspetto da tenere in considerazione vista l\u2019era in cui ci troviamo. Molto pi\u00f9 elevata \u00e8 la percentuale delle tre domande proposte nel 2020 che si avvicina al 90%. Questo fa sperare, anche se, analizzando nello specifico, si nota che il 14% degli italiani pensa che il vaccino provochi l\u2019autismo, nonostante le campagne di divulgazione scientifica attuate su tutte le piattaforme digitali. Le campagne di \u201calfabetizzazione scientifica\u201d, attuate da diversi anni, hanno invece raggiunto un risultato idoneo per quanto riguarda il tema dei cambiamenti climatici, facendo s\u00ec che il 97% degli intervistati rispondesse correttamente alla domanda posta. Nonostante questo, alcuni dati lasciano ancora a desiderare, ad esempio, la domanda sul terrapiattismo, alla quale il 7% degli intervistati ha risposto erroneamente. Questi dati raccolti da Observa Science in Society lasciano trapelare che bisogna continuare ad insistere su questo tema cercando di attuare un\u2019\u201calfabetizzazione scientifica\u201d di massa.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
